FINALLY, both the Mustang and Camaro have good looking yet retro-styled and quality interiors! The question is, which one does it better?
I honestly cannot say which does it better. Now debate and whatnot.

Mustang wins due to mechanical handbrake.

I sat in both ‘16s today, definitely Mustang! Material quality is a big step up from them.

Maybe the Camaro... it blends retro but I appreciate how it’s more modern!

The Mustang looks more cohesive to me.

Mustang, because toggle switches!
![]() 01/13/2016 at 19:39 |
|
That is an excellent reason

Uhhhh . . . Both of the close ups you posted are ‘stang interiors.

While the new Camaro interior is a huge improvement over the 2010-2015 model, Mustang is still quite a bit better. Still hate the plastic door panels though.

Mustang.

The toggle switches won’t do it for me anymore. Especially the minute I found out they were on premium models only...But someone on the 6th gen forum did make aftermarket switches for base models soo...

How much of an interior improvement on the Camaro though?

........................Wut?
![]() 01/13/2016 at 19:44 |

The fact there are aftermarket solutions to this toggle-less tragedy is valuable information to me, thank you.
![]() 01/13/2016 at 19:45 |

This is valid reasoning.

Not as much, there is still some tacky plastic in places. The design does look much better. I repfer the retro cues of the ‘stang personally.
![]() 01/13/2016 at 19:49 |

Wow how shitty of Ford to do that.
![]() 01/13/2016 at 19:51 |

Mustang wins because people who are 5'6" can actual see. Camaro is....ditchy

He’s right lol
Both steering wheels in the second photo have a horse on them
![]() 01/13/2016 at 19:54 |

I prefer the Mustang’s steering wheel, but the Camaro’s everything else.
![]() 01/13/2016 at 19:59 |
|
Which is why the Camaros are in the first photo?

Such a strange location for HVAC vents.
Anyhow, the gap is narrower with the Camaro revamp, but I’d still prefer the Mustang.

Damnit, you got me there... Whoops :/
![]() 01/13/2016 at 20:13 |

Put me in the Mustang camp. To me it just looks like its interior is more cohesive. The Camaro’s kind of looks like things were tacked on.
![]() 01/13/2016 at 20:14 |

Mustang for me, it has a less fussy steering wheel, and odd angles. The Camaro interior just looks too busy to me, and the center screen is just intrusive.
![]() 01/13/2016 at 20:19 |

<< Mustang steering wheel and center console...Camaro everything else >>
EDIT: after looking at them a bit more, Mustang all the way.

The mustang other than those cup holders that take up the entire armrest
![]() 01/13/2016 at 20:34 |

Mustang all the way. Should make a poll.

I’m a dumbass and didn’t catch that the header photo was two Camaros.
BTW, the Mustang wins.
![]() 01/13/2016 at 21:07 |

Both look equally good to me, cant go wrong either way. Buuuut... Camaro wins because I dont want a prancing unicorn on my steering wheel.

I feel the design of the Mustang was done to fit everything perfectly, whilst in the Camaro stuff like the vents and the screen looks a little tacked on.

I’d say the Mustang for the reasons others have mentioned, but shoutout to the Camaro for hand air-conditioning when shifting on a hot day.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. They both have good looking interiors?

I vote for Camaro. While both cars have made great improvements in interior quality, I cannot stand the Mustang’s dashboard height. It’s far too in-my-face and I prefer the lower dash of the Camaro.
